We are honoured to host the 2018 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2018) that will be held for the first time in Spain in the lively capital city of Madrid. It is the third largest city in the European Union and one of the oldest capitals in the world. It is a captivating city full of history, tradition, high class cuisine and rich day & night entertainment.

Under the motto of “Towards a Robotic Society”, we are preparing a full agenda from 1 to 5 October 2018 with the most recent and major advances in the field, accompanied by which might be the largest robotic exhibition in the history of IROS. The conference will cover all the R&D activities as Plenary & Keynote presentations, Technical ones in mixed oral/interactive format, Special sessions, Workshops & Tutorials, Forums, etc.
We would like you to enjoy not only the research side of the congress, but also the hospitality of Madrid and its citizens, its culture heritage in the unique art district of Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums, its fabulous gastronomy from typical tapas bar to world´s best restaurants and an endless nightlife offer. We are looking forward to seeing you at IROS 2018.
